UK Government announces extension of CE mark recognition for businesses

The Department for Business and Trade has today announced an indefinite extension to the use of CE marking for businesses.

What does this policy mean for UK importers?
According to the previous policy, British local importers are required to obtain UKCA certification for electronic products sold in the UK from 2024, and CE certification will no longer be accepted.
The new policy promulgated on August 1, 2023, no longer compels UKCA. Electronic products can be sold in the UK only by applying for CE.
